Recently I’ve been studying Candy’s combat capabilities to better understand how some members of the Liquorice Lineage are immune to her attacks…
❖ Experiment Results
Let’s see… Tighty! One of Lime’s summons. A golem composed entirely of (seemingly) unbreakable Impicitie and twice Candy’s size… yet for some reason he shattered after a single punch! 😮
Next, Katje. One of Lacie’s annoying cousins. This tiny cat dodged every single punch, kick and earthquake that Candy threw at her. All while grinning! She annoys me so much!! D:<
Mmm, Candy beats up Lacie almost every day so there’s really no point in researching this… :s
❖ Conclusion
After simulating some more match ups it seems Candy’s close combat skills are super effective against larger targets, but completely miss targets half her size…
…which means I should be safe to keep conducting experiments on her! 😀

While Peppermint shows off a faceful of new gadgets, Lime takes his latest four-wheeled summon out for a spin. Running entirely on the carbon-free coolness of his master, the Tighty El Camino can go from 0 to 60 in just 6 seconds, before instantly breaking down.

From gems to jabronis, Lime’s ability to summon a pair of formidable entities gives him an edge when it comes to capturing Lacie and her friends. Sadly, this “edge” is about as sharp as a marble when it comes to Tighty and Lucy, whose incompetence rivals even their master’s.

While Lacie and Shelbie mess around with Candy’s afternoon nap, Peppermint puts her new water resistant body to the test by fending off Lime’s latest summon all by herself.
Sometimes I feel like she should be the protagonist instead…
Failing to squash Lacie and friends with giant green tentacles, Lime speeds the rest of his time at the beach learning how to swim (while plotting his revenge, of course).

One of Lacie’s early encounters with her younger brother Lime after she pinched their family’s treasure and fled to the world above. Still learning how to summon a monstrosity large enough to capture his slippery sister, the pair duke it out on the dusty dunes near Bournville, where Lime’s failure rate finally hit the double digits.
