A Dog Day’s Night

Candy is not a morning person. Not one bit. In fact, Candy hasn’t woken up before noon at any point in her life. When this dog-tired beastkin does manage to drag herself into the powder room, she often forgets which hand is holding her gigantic toothbrush.

Luckily, a tiny squirt of Peppermint’s experimental buzzbomb flavoured toothpaste is enough to instantly wake her (or anyone) up, no matter the time of day.

Misinterpreting a certain springtime holiday from a far off star, Peppermint modified her chassis to resemble a “bunny girl”, complete with patented carrocket. Some records even tell tales of gorging oneself on egg-shaped chocolates for an entire day. What a strange culture.

[ Peppermint’s Log ]

Candy bought us all some sweets yesterday! She also bought some Swiftnut Drops for herself, the kind that lets her run super fast!

In order to fine tune Allsorts’ new Biped Mode, we had a race!

❖ Experiment Results

  • Race 1 Winner: Candy (00:00:24s)
  • Race 2 Winner: Candy (00:00:25s)
  • Race 3 Winner: Candy (00:00:23s)

❖ Other Data

  • Lacie’s body refuses to keep eight bowls of sweets inside of her while Allsorts is running at top speed.
  • Additionally, her theory of painting “performance boosting” stripes onto Allsorts’ exterior didn’t actually boost its performance during race 2.
  • However, changing the stripe’s colour to red during race 3 improved Allsorts’ speed by 1%. Fascinating!
  • Shelbie has still not recovered from her dizziness. Then again, it’s hard to tell with her.

❖ Conclusions

  • For now, Allfours Mode is superior when it comes to speed.
  • However, Allsorts does enjoy having the ability to hurl Lacie at various types of mountains.

Mode: Biped

It’s a house! It’s a backpack! It’s a solar-powered sentient fortress created and trademarked by Peppermint, do not steal! While Allsorts’ default “Allfours Mode” allows Lacie and friends to travel anywhere they like, Peppermint decided the ride just wasn’t bumpy enough. Introducing “Biped Mode”, complete with extendable forearms and a guaranteed method of unintentionally breaking every bone in its crew’s body.

Seeing how long Lacie can survive underneath the weight of its brand new feet is an added bonus, too.
